NEST New York founder Laura Slatkin was inspired to create Indigo after a trip to Europe in 1992, when she was just beginning her career in the fragrance industry. During her travels, she visited noteworthy perfumeries in Paris and apothecaries in London, learning about the history and origins of fragrance. It was during a visit to a tea shop on Bond Street in London that she experienced an exceptional Moroccan tea aroma, which became the inspiration for this extraordinary fragrance.
